DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nIn honor of Foster Care Awareness Month\, help k
 ids in our community celebrate their birthdays! Most kids look forward to 
 their birthday all year. However\, for the more than 2\,000 children in fo
 ster care in Milwaukee County\, birthdays are often forgotten. In times of
  upheaval\, your family can spread joy to other kids on their birthdays by
  donating kits filled with everything they need to celebrate their special
  day.\nAll birthday kits will be distributed by Kids Matter\, an organizat
 ion that supports kinship and foster children.\n\nActivities\nGo shopping 
 with your kids! Pick a theme and pack a birthday bag with the necessary pa
 rty supplies: cake mix\, frosting\, party decor\, a party hat\, a funny bi
 rthday card\, and a small gift. We’ll send you a complete list of suppli
 es and suggestions following registration.\nImpact\nKids will learn how to
  help support other kids going through a difficult time. They will gain an
  understanding of how a small act of giving can have a big impact.\nWhen &
 amp\; Where\nDrop off completed birthday kits anytime between May 7-21 at 
 a KIC leader's homes in Bayside\, Lannon\, Waukesha\, and Whitefish Bay.\n

 Matter is an organization that supports kinship and foster children. Nearl
 y 100 children in Milwaukee County are removed from their homes each month
  because they are deemed unsafe\, according to Children’s Wisconsin. Kid
 s Matter Inc. believes that every child needs someone in their corner. Thr
 ough staff and volunteers\, Kids Matter makes sure that children and their
