DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nVolunteer with KIC and our beloved community par
 tner\, the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA)\, at its annual Art &amp\; Chalk
  Fest. The festival features artists from the Wisconsin arts community. Fa
 milies can experience chalk artists creating large-scale works of chalk ar
 t right before their eyes\, watch a glass-blowing demo in a mobile hot sho
 p\, get a caricature drawing of the family\, or see clay sculpted into han
 dmade vessels on a pottery wheel all while listening to live music. There 
 will also be an Activity Zone where you can participate in Chalk the Stree
 t or get creative with hands-on art projects. \nActivities\nCome voluntee
 r during a shift on Saturday\, Aug. 17\, or Sunday\, Aug. 18. By volunteer
 ing\, you'll get a free Art &amp\; Chalk Fest t-shirt and get to stay for 
 the fun before and/or after your shift. A fabulous way to spend a family s
 ummer day! Specifically\, MOWA needs our help with the following jobs:\n\n
  	\n\n 	1) Festival Greeter: Hang out at the entrance and greet people as 
 they enter the festival\, hand out a brochure\, and point people in the ri
 ght direction.\n 	2) Raffle Tent Helper: Sell raffle tickets and instruct 
 people to write their name/phone number on the tickets.\n 	3) Family Activ
 ity Area Helper: Encourage and help families start hands-on art activities
  and refill art supplies as needed.\n 	4) Museum Greeter (inside): Use an 
 attendance clicker to track the number of people entering the museum\, han
 d out bookmarks\, and welcome visitors inside the museum.\n\n\n\nImpact\nK
 ids will get to use their time and love to support MOWA and spread an appr
 eciation and passion for American art in our beautiful state of Wisconsin 
 - all while having a fun time at the Art &amp\; Chalk Fest!\nWhen &amp\; W
 here\nSaturday\, August 17 or Sunday\, August 18\n\nShifts between 9:45 a.
 m.-5 p.m.\n\nMuseum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA)\n\n205 Veterans Avenue\n\nWest
