SUMMARY:April Showers of Love: Help Receive and Sort Donations
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER BELOW. Click on the links for the dates that work for 
 you!\nFrom maternity clothing to baby gear to toddler necessities - expand
 ing your family requires a lot of new stuff! Together we can help gather t
 he essential gear for growing families in our community.\n\nAll donated it
 ems will be distributed at the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation’s
  (CAFF) Family Day. This event will bring together growing and expecting f
 amilies currently living on a limited income for a day of joy\, community 
 connection\, and essential support. Each participating family will receive
  basic necessities\, children's clothing\, and baby gear to help them rais
 e healthy children.\nActivities\nStaff the donation drive drop-off. Welcom
 e families as they arrive and help them sort their donations according to 
 item type/clothing size. Items may include clothes\, diapers\, bottles\, f
 ormula\, toys\, books and more. Help organize the baby boutique where expe
 cting parents will shop for items they need to welcome their new little on
 e home.\nFor slower periods\, we will have a mini art project available fo
 r your kids to work on. Their projects will be gifted to seniors at an upc
 oming Intergenerational Playgroup.\nBring donations with you!\n\nImpact\nK
 ids will learn the value of a circular economy through giving baby and tod
 dler essentials a second life with families who need them. They’ll gain 
 hands-on experience sorting\, organizing\, and setting up a welcoming “s
 hop\,” while building empathy\, teamwork\, and an understanding of how s
 haring resources supports both people and the planet.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where
 \nWe need two-three families to assist during each of the dates below:\n\n

 illage back for local moms by fostering connection between local moms and 
 the local businesses in their neighborhood. They host Mom &amp\; Baby Coff
 ee Dates in local coffee shops\, have volunteer gatherings for local nonpr
 ofits that support local families\, have Moms’ Nights and Staycations at
  local hotels and resorts\, and have six chapters of monthly BB Book clubs
 . Babbling Babes also offers an off-social-media safe space\, The Village\
 , for local moms to connect and bring connections offline and in-person. B
 abbling Babes sees the women behind the mom label and is bringing the vill
 age back for local moms one gathering at a time.\n\nAbout Kids Impact Comm
 unity\nKids Impact Community develops and coordinates monthly service oppo
 rtunities for children ages 0-tween to volunteer alongside their caregiver
 s. These opportunities show kids the power of generosity while making new 
 connections throughout our Milwaukee community. Join us at an upcoming pro
