KIC-Off Party

August 25 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We are so excited to host this special KIC-Off Party to celebrate our new name; Kids Impact Community (KIC). At this party, we will have live music, face painting, field games, freezies and more! You will also have the opportunity to donate school supplies to our school supply drive for children of Our Next Generation.

When and Where:

When: Sunday August 25th 4:00pm-6:00pm RAIN OR SHINE

Where: Richard E. Maslowski Glendale Community Park (2200 W Bender Rd, Glendale, WI, 53209)

**Please note that our event will take place rain or shine! We are confident the day will bring warmth and sun, but in the off chance we do have rain, Miss Julie Ann Lovely Thompson will still perform outside on the covered stage while our face painting, field games and more fun will be held indoors in the David Hobbs for the People Community Room**

Purpose: In years past, we have hosted our annual summer Meet and Greet. At this gathering we celebrated families who volunteer with us throughout the year and welcomed new families to our community! Besides celebrating our new name, we are pleased to host this KIC- Off Party to celebrate YOU. Whether you have been volunteering with us since the beginning or more recently, or even if this is your first event, we wish to celebrate YOU and your passion for volunteer.

Impact: This will be our fourth year hosting a school supply drive to support children of Our Next Generation. Not only does this project offer you the chance to donate school supplies, but you have the opportunity to work together with your children to shop for them. While we wish to celebrate you at this most exciting event, this service project will give you the opportunity to show your children that serving others can be fun and they are capable of making a difference!

Activities: Our KIC Off Party will includes activities for all ages! Miss Julie Ann Lovely Thompson and her band will be performing on the Johnson Controls Amphitheater stage with room to sing and dance along. We will have free face painting by Rae & Co as well as various field games such as giant jenga, corn hole and lawn darts! We will have water and freezies for everyone. Maslowski Park also has a beautiful accessible play structure with something for all of the ages! The Sprecher Outdoor Brewing Oasis will be open to purchase food and drink!
